Tink-a-tink-a-too now added to the US
lineup. The Flowershop is now on www.walmart.com
(but not in stock yet). Ponies have also

Meijer stores. |

A
mysterious Hasbro Visitor has sent
us a note:
Hi,
I think you can help...I work for Hasbro
(yes, the same person who came to chat
on MLPTP), and was concerned by a string
on MLPTP that I wanted to correct.
You'll be happy to know that early sales
of MLP are excellent, better than we expected
(some might even say “hot”). I was very
surprised that someone heard Kay Bee was
not pleased, their sales have been especially
strong.
The advertising will begin end [of] August,
and if you watch kids TV, I can assure
you you will see plenty of MLP ads between
end August and December (and I think you'll
recognize the music!). Unlike other information
we may sometimes slip a date on ;-), the
ad time is already purchased, so I guarantee
the start date is real!
We may even post the commercials on the
website before they run...keep looking.
Our goal remains the same...make MLP #1.
The support of all the collectors is an
important part of achieving that goal.
Hope this clears some things up for everyone....

Ice Crystal has uncovered some new
pony product names listed in the US registry.
Is there nothing she can’t sniff out for
us? Included are Bloomin’ Blossoms Shop,
Rain or Shine Garden Time, Berry-Pickin’
Fun, Strawberry Swirl, Rainbow Flash,
and Fluttershy. Who are these new ponies?!?! |

that...) Yellow ponies are so hard to
resist. |

Also,
this is what Seanan had to share with us
about the new pony video titled “A Charming Birthday,”
which she reported getting as a pre-release item
with a specially-packaged Kimono and a charm bracelet.
“...the
animation is not so good. Much like the original
series, they’ve tried to give each pony a personality,
and sometimes this is...not so cool. Minty is shaping
up to be the new Applejack, and Kimino effectively
fills Glory’s role, but Sunny Daze is a surfer,
Wisteria seems seriously stoned, and if Razzaroo
is going to say ‘yes, yes, YES!’ every time she
agrees with something, I’ll be seriously annoyed.
“The plot is pretty simple—they're throwing a surprise
party for Kimino—and it ties into the charm bracelet
she’s packaged with. They manage to introduce all
the ponies from the initial release set, plus Razz
and Cotton Candy, through the narrative device of
Razzaroo’s birthday scrapbook.
“The voice acting for the ponies is generally decent,
and in some cases, really very nice— Kimino and
Sunny Daze especially. Sweetberry is annoying, Minty
is basically Applejack with a green fixation, and
Cotton Candy talks too much... Rainbow Dash is a
Hollywood-esque drama queen who says ‘darling’ a
lot,...and Kimono—the wisest pony in Ponyville—lives
outside of town. It’s funny.”

Another new
pony! Thanks, Seanan for sending
us this image captured off a folder that
has not yet been released. (UPDATE: It’s
Spring Fever!) Seanan was also
able to get a special (also not yet released)
Kimono pony that came with a pink charm
bracelet and a video! The ponies are having
a surprise party for Kimono and (while
it may not be the fanciest cartoon), an
instrumental version of the MLP-theme
song is in there! |

In other
news...Baby Snowbright found Sweet Summertime,
Winter Snow, and Butterscotch in the UK being sold
as singles. Looks like the seasonal ponies will
be hitting Europe this summer, though rumor has
it they will be available in the US in the fall.

“A Charming Birthday.” |

exclusive (or amazon.com). Bloomin’ Blossoms
Shop with Meadowbrook will be released
in the fall as Walmart exclusive. More
importantly, “Every pony and playset that
is currently being sold outside of the
US will be offered in the US at some point
this year. In some cases, they may be
sold as exclusive items in a particular
store, or may be included in the full
My Little Pony product line.” Thanks Buttercup,

What is a promo-pack? For a limited time,
