Winter Celebration
The first Winter Ponies were available exclusively at Target in 2003 and only in the US and Australia. They came with special winter accessories, a brush, and 2 pony points.
 
     
     

Although each of these ponies is considered hard to find, Mittens is more common than Candy Cane and Snowflake because this set shipped four to a box and there are 2 Mittens for every Candy Cane and Snowflake. This set is also known as Winter Series I, though the term Winter Series wasn't introduced until 2004 with the Winter Series II set. Additional sets would follow.
