Rainbow Dash

Rainbow Dash is one of the original ponies introduced in 2003. She is also used to promote the My Little Pony brand.

Rainbow Dash was a 1st edition rainbow pony. She was sold as a single on the general market. For a short time during the US fall, she was available with a free “A Charming Birthday” VHS video and charm bracelet.

Rainbow Dash was available in a new pose during the 2003 fall/holiday season. This version of Rainbow Dash was also available in a collector's edition Race to Ponyville game (at Kohls), where she was one of four possible ponies packaged in the collectible game tin.

In 2004, Rainbow Dash returned in a third pose with the Tea Party Fun dress-up set, available in a Costco 4-pack and also by itself at K-mart, but would be otherwise hard to find in the US.

In 2005, Rainbow Dash would be found in her original pose in a picnic set found predominantly at Wal-Mart and Toys R US in the US. Noted differences of this release include a darker body color than that of the previous release.

In 2006, Rainbow Dash would be reissued as a large styling pony, which came with different hair accessories and stickers.
