Sparkleworks

Sparkleworks I has a few noted variations, the most noticeable being a large or small star in her eye and slight color variations in her symbol. These variations tend to vary based on how she is packaged. The large star was usually sold as a single and the small eye star was usually in a promotional set, though it was later proven that variations could show up anywhere.

Sparkleworks was one of the original ponies introduced in 2003. She was also used to promote the My Little Pony brand.

Sparkleworks I

Sparkleworks I was first available in the US in a 2003 promotional 2-pack. With the purchase of a Sparkleworks pony, you had your choice of bonus ponies Autumn Skye, Star Swirl, or Butterscotch. Sparkleworks was also released as a single and for a short time came with the free “A Charming Birthday” video and charm bracelet. She was also available in the 2003 Cafe Value pack.

Sparkleworks II  Sparkleworks III

Sparkleworks II was issued in her second pose in late 2003 as as single and would be reissued as a bonus with the ice skating/ballet sets at Wal-Mart in 2004. This version would commonly have a reversed symbol. Sparkleworks III was issued in her third pose in a 2004 eveningwear dress-up set.

More Glitter Ponies

In 2004, Sparkleworks would be sold as a Disney exclusive dressed up as Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty).

Disney Princess Ponies

Sparkleworks was also issued as a 2005 Happy Meal toy in the US and Canada.
