Rainbow Ponies (multi-colored hair) and Glitter Ponies (pearly hair tinsel) combined into the Perfectly Pony group in August 2004. All Perfectly Pony ponies were a part of the general assortment available at most stores and came with a brush and 2 pony points.
 

The first edition set was available mid-year in 2004.

50 of each 2nd edition character was first available through WorldinAdvance online auctions. The set was available in stores mid- to late-year 2004 and would be available at the "Build a Pony Playset" work station at Downtown Disney's Once Upon a Toy Store.
